Snap Cap Vials are an extension of the crimp cap system of sealing. A plastic cap is stretched over the rim of the vial to form a seal by squeezing the septum between the glass and the stretched plastic cap. Plastic has memory and wants to return to the original dimension. This tension in the cap to return to its original size is the force forming the seal between glass, cap and septum. The advantage of a plastic snap cap is no tools are required to assemble. The snap-top cap is a compromise sealing system.

Aijiren’s 2ml Screw Vial is often used to hold samples into the autosampler for testing. The samples are often chemical reagents. If impurities appear in the chemical reagents, the test results will be affected. Therefore, we will use the Syringe Filter to filter, and inject the filtered reagents into 2ml Screw Vial, and then put it into the Autosampler for testing.

The 11mm snap-top caps are made of high-quality polypropylene. The caps have a roll-edge or snap-on shape. The snap-top caps provide a secure seal that minimizes evaporation even for volatile samples. PTFE/silicone septa are the product of choice for most HPLC and GC applications where resealability and high purity are critical. Ideal for applications where ease of needle insertion is important. Silicone septa have strong re-sealing properties and can still maintain good sealing performance after multiple injections; PTFE is currently a material with good chemical conditions and can withstand strong acids and alkalis. After the two materials are combined, the bottle can be used for various laboratory purposes such as sealed sampling and chemical storage.
