Why choose an Interlocked Insert Vial? — When sample volume is < 150 µL, a loose insert can drift or float during injection, causing needle-miss errors. Aijiren's base-bonded (fused) insert vials lock the insert in place with high concentricity tolerance, eliminating this risk entirely. Dead volume < 5 µL. Note that the manufacturing process for fused insert vials is more complex, resulting in a higher unit cost compared to standard loose inserts.

The 5.0 grade is recommended when samples require extensive or repeated heating, as its lower thermal expansion coefficient provides better thermal shock resistance during high-temperature applications.

A precision-threaded polypropylene cap screws onto a matching vial neck. Thread pitch and diameter are encoded in the designation — e.g. 9-425 means 9 mm diameter, GPI-425 pitch. The septa sits inside the cap, compressed by tightening torque.

Irreversible aluminium seal for volatile samples
An aluminium cap is mechanically crimped (deformed) around the vial neck flange using a hand crimper or pneumatic tool, creating an airtight, tamper-evident seal. The only way to open it is to decrimp. Provides the highest sealing integrity.
