Headspace vials are a kind of laboratory vials for top space analysis, with the features of high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

A headspace vial is used in the process of top – gas chromatography. When detecting volatile or semi-volatile mixtures with high boiling points, we need to heat them to vaporize them at the top. In this process, since the liquid samples are at the bottom, the material in the top gas can be measured without touching the liquid in the sample vial.

The material of Headspace Vials is low extractable Borosilicate glass with low expansion rate, high-temperature resistance, high strength, high hardness, high light transmittance and high chemical stability. Headspace Vials suitable for headspace analysis of volatile solids and gases.

The Aijiren screw headspace vial has a beveled neck for safe sealing, uniform glass thickness for uniform heating distribution and stability, and a sturdy design that is easy to use. 

Available in clear and amber USP1 borosilicate glass with screws and crimp top. 

The round bottom vial distributes the internal pressure generated under the high temperature of the glass surface, and it is easier to handle the vial being lifted from the tray by the robot arm. 

The screw-head empty vial has 18mm Magnetic cap, which is suitable for autosampler using magnetic transportation, while crimping the top bottle to be used with aluminum cap

The 18mm Screw Neck Vials with Magnetic Screw Seals for CTC is novelties in the crimp neck dominated Headspace market. However, especially for the hard to crimp magnetic caps, screw closures are a convenient alternative.

The vials are preferentially used on instruments : CTC PAL , Varian, Gerstel, Atas, Shimadzu, Agilent.

The caps with an aluminium skirt and a magnetic central disk, are easy to crimp and decap.

Matching bottle cap and gasket:

The 18mm septa uses only the highest quality materials to ensure proper function, and is especially suitable for gas chromatograph applications, ensuring that the septa will not fall into the sample vial during sample injection. The septa are made of PTFE/silicone fusion, they are made of TFE/silicone fusion, and have excellent inertness and can be used for multiple injections. The thickness of the septum is 1.5mm.

The screw headspace series bottle caps combine innovation with time-saving convenience, precise manufacturing tolerances, and a controllable manufacturing environment. The bottle cap produced by this patented method truly combines the septum and the cap at the molecular level to avoid excessive evaporation and keep the sample bottle properly sealed.
